    The tourism centre is lovely for a small outback town but...the lady who was there when we visited on Monday 18/9/17 was less than helpful. She barely said hello when we entered and was more interested in the printer than customers. We wandered around the little art gallery, looked at the beautiful quilts, asked about the road between Wentworth and Menindee then left. By then there were about 10 to 15 other people there who had received the same non welcome.

    Why isn't she promoting the area...especially the River Lady Cruise which we took a pamphlet on and decide to do. Someone working in an Information centre should be asking everyone who enters "How can I help you?" They should be encouraging everyone who enters to stay and enjoy what the area had to offer.
